Having expanded its search for wisdom beyond the bounds of traditional protestant texts, Unitarian Universalism draws from many sources. You can find them listed in the first pages of our hymnals. Today we’ll consider the one described as, “Wisdom from the world’s religions which inspires us in our ethical and spiritual life.” What have UUs learned from (and about) drawing wisdom from the world’s religions?
If you’ve been thinking about inviting a friend to try out our church, this is the perfect Sunday! Today’s sermon will include a brief introduction to aspects of our faith, along with a message for long-time UUs and newcomers alike.
